Shipping is available only in continental United States. Shipping is NOT available for the following states or regions:
-State of Alaska
-State of Hawaii
–U.S. Virgin Islands
-U.S. military and air force bases
All orders are shipped Monday through Friday via UPS 2-Day Air Shipping or UPS 2-Day Ground Shipping depending on the shipping address. Shipment will not be delivered on a Monday, Sunday, or a UPS holiday. Saturday delivery is not available in some locations. As soon as your order has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking details enclosed.
UPS is authorized to leave all packages at the destination without signature which will insure that your gelato will not melt due to multiple delivery attempts.
How Do We Pack Your Order
Orders will be packed inside a two-inch thick, sturdy polystyrene (EPS) container and placed inside a corrugated cardboard box. Adding dry ice, or solid carbon dioxide, to shipment is to prevent gelato from melting and maintain its best taste and texture after it arrives at the destination.
It is best to open the package immediately upon arrival and to put gelato in the freezer. Use gloves when handling dry ice.
Al Gelato is not responsible for damage or loss of shipment due to unavailable recipient or incorrect address information, or theft. We are not able to change the address or cancel an order once the order has been processed. Please ensure your recipient will be in town on the arrival day. We are not liable for lost or melted products if customers changes the pickup location to a UPS access point, UPS Store or any other delivery address during the shipping process. Shipments won’t be able to be delivered to PO Boxes, A.P.O or F.P.O addresses due the highly perishable nature of our products.
